What to Expect when you visit
We hope you will join us on a Sunday morning for worship, or for one of our special programs. On Sunday morning, you can find Sunday school classes for all ages. Our Sunday school classes are held at 9:30 a.m. Greeters are outside our doors to welcome and direct visitors to Sunday school classes, the nursery, and sanctuary. During our worship at 10:45 – you will be invited to sign our friendship pads so that we know you were with us. We celebrate Communion every week and we believe that all are welcome at the Lord’s Table. After the service, please look for our pastor outside the sanctuary; we look forward to greeting you.
Our Worship
We worship together on Sunday mornings at 8:45 and 10:45 am. The 8:45 service is a smaller service and casual and is only held during the summer from Memorial Day till Labor Day weekends. The 10:45 service is a larger, traditional service and we are often blessed by the music of the choir, musicians, and special quartets and ensembles. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper each Sunday morning. We partake of the bread individually as it is passed; we hold the cup that we may partake of it in Christian unity. All who believe in Christ as Lord and Savior are invited to partake.
During our 10:45 worship, we have a moment for children. We believe children are a blessing and it is our desire to have them participate in the worship moment. We also provide a nursery for our littlest ones. If you prefer your young one to remain with you and they are expressing themselves, you can take the stairs and worship from the upper room, which overlooks the sanctuary. This way you are still able to participate, seeing and hearing the service and enjoying your child as well.
